Occasional Magazine Vol.5 No.1 (February 1933)
Milford Church and its connection with Christchurch Priory and Castle by [Dr.] Arthur Wood. In a fluent, closely reasoned paper, two main themes are considered. Firstly, the history of Christchurch Priory and what ecclesiastical relationship it could possibly have had with Milford till the Dissolution; and secondly, what can be inferred from known alterations to the fabric of Milford Church in the earliest times? It suggests how the Priory may have ministered to Milford’s spiritual needs then.
