Occasional Magazine Vol.5 No.3 (September 1938)
All Saints’ Church, Milford by Gen. C. F. G. Young and C. A. Finzel. General Young, by examining capital expenditure between 1920 and 1936, gives a record of important events in the life of the Church. Major items occur, such as installing new heating apparatus, removing and repairing the roof to eradicate death watch beetle, recasting and adding to the Bells, building a new vestry and installing a new organ. The expenses of these and many repairs or alterations to furniture were met by donations and appeals to parishioners. Finzel carries the survey forward to 1938. [Note. Two quotations on p.40 cite the Society’s Occasional Magazine for May 1936, but such an issue apparently does not exist.]
