Milford Church Stones by Rev. S. G. Hooper. The condition of the stonework of Milford Church is of constant concern and some earlier restoration work has not been successful. Stone used from the Quarr quarries from the Isle of Wight has varied in quality, but its widely adopted Binstead stone was depleted centuries ago. For the alterations of 1947 Weldon stone from Kettering quarries was used.
