On 5th July 2019 there will be a commemorative service in All Saints’ church Milford-on-Sea to mark the bi-centenary of the death of Admiral the Honourable Sir William Cornwallis and to honour each of the three courageous admirals whose long years at sea secured the freedom of our land in the wars against France from 1793-1815.
A new stained glass window will be dedicated to Milford’s three Admirals together with Cornwallis’ flag captain John Whitby. The window was designed and produced by Steve Sherriff Stained Glass Ltd. Photograph by Southpoint Films Ltd.
