Our community has a terrific social tradition: from carnivals to festivals; from concerts to play readings; from sports to gardening; from food celebrations to Maypole dancing.

If you belong to a group which meets to enjoy a particular pastime then you may have some documents – old programmes, team sheets etc or old photographs which could be kept in our archive so that in the future our wider community can see what we did “back in the day.”

  • I remember many a happy hour “helping” on this milkfloat when I was a youngster, around 55 years ago. I think the milkman was Mr James and sure he lived near the bottom of Carrington Lane.
