In these difficult times, I hope that you are managing to keep well and cheerful. Being social animals, it is so against our human nature to find ourselves in a situation of social distancing and in some cases self-isolation. As you would expect your trustees, ever mindful of the Government’s instructions concerning the spreading of coronavirus, have decided to cancel May’s meeting and the lecture on Hampshire Mills. I am sure that this does not come as a surprise to you. Moreover we have felt it prudent to postpone the Summer Outing.
However, while our normal programme has been reduced to meet the circumstances, you will be pleased to know that MOSHRS is offering a series of local history podcasts. The first two are now on our website. So find the button on the top ribbon bar that says “our podcasts”
We intend to roll out new podcasts every few weeks while the social distancing regime lasts. So follow the connecting link above and view the latest additions to our website and enjoy the mini lectures from the comfort of your own armchair!
