Occasional Magazine Vol.1 No.1 (August 1909)
The Church, &c. by Arthur B. Woodd. The author gives a miscellany of facts and legend contributing to the history of All Saints Church in Milford. They concern changes to the fabric and interior arrangements, some apparently in his lifetime. Among the varied subjects covered are the lean-to’s on either side of the Tower, a possible altar-piece of a Lady Chapel, and the so-called “heap of stones” on which a Cross to the memory of Colonel Hawker was erected. Dating of the differing items in this interesting paper is unfortunately lacking.
