Membership

MOSHRS has an annual programme of talks on a range of topics given by those who have fully researched particular events, places or people from the past, and mainly relating to our local area. Click here to see forthcoming talks.

There is also an annual trip organised by the Society to visit places of particular historic interest in the local area.

We produce periodically our Occasional Magazine which gives some fascinating insights into the people and places with a connection to Milford-on-Sea. We also produce a regular newsletter to keep members up to date with current news  and a series of podcasts are now available to enjoy.

MOSHRS holds a catalogue of nearly 10,000 records in its archive which are available to members. You can access these and other records by going to the Archive page of this website.

The Society currently has over 200 members and the cost of membership is just £10 per annum for access to all the above activities.
