Occasional Magazine Vol.3 No.1 (May 1923)
Notes on the Old Mill of Milford by Anon. Milford’s name is clearly derived as locating a mill at a ford. The mill was doubtless the one occurring in Domesday 1086 but its subsequent history is unclear until Victorian times. The changes to mill, bakery and house to date [1922] are explained and a photograph c.1892 is reproduced.
