Occasional Magazine Vol.4 No.4 (June 1929)
Notes by W. Ravenscroft. Complementing Dr. Harris’s article above, the author records the subsequent growth of Milford to 1920. He highlights its modernisation with the remark “[in 1898] Milford had no gas, water supply or electric light, and [in 1928] it only needs drainage to bring it up to a satisfactory condition”.
