Occasional Magazine Vol.5 No.4 (January 1948)
Note on the fossils from a temporary exposure in sands at Keyhaven in 1939-40 by Miss M. E. J. Chandler. The author gives a technical report from examining sand removed by a 35ft deep borehole during work on a drainage scheme. The fossils contained were subsequently identified at the Geological Department of the British Museum. Their importance lay in determining exactly what deep layers exist in a particular locality where normally there is no chance of seeing them.
